KUBORAUM Glasses

KUBORAUM’s inception is a tale of artistic vision, cultural exploration, and the pursuit of creative freedom. Founded in Berlin in 2012 by Livio Graziottin and Sergio Eusebi, two artists with backgrounds in fashion design, sculpture, and architecture, the brand emerged as a response to the rigid confines of traditional eyewear design.

The name “KUBORAUM” itself is a fusion of the German word “Kubo” (cube) and the Latin word “Raum” (space), reflecting the brand’s fascination with geometry, dimensionality, and the interplay between form and space. From the outset, Graziottin and Eusebi sought to challenge conventional notions of eyewear, envisioning glasses not merely as functional accessories but as extensions of the wearer’s personality and imagination.

Drawing inspiration from the vibrant cultural milieu of Berlin, as well as influences ranging from tribal art to contemporary urban landscapes, KUBORAUM’s early eyewear creations were characterized by their bold shapes, intricate textures, and experimental use of materials. Each pair of glasses was conceived as a sculptural object, a wearable work of art that invited wearers to explore the boundaries of self-expression and identity.

As KUBORAUM garnered attention for its avant-garde designs and boundary-pushing aesthetics, the brand quickly attracted a devoted following among artists, musicians, and creative thinkers seeking eyewear that reflected their individuality and nonconformity. Collaborations with like-minded creatives further cemented KUBORAUM’s reputation as a hub of artistic innovation and cultural exchange.

Despite its rapid ascent to prominence, KUBORAUM remains rooted in its ethos of authenticity, craftsmanship, and creative exploration. Each pair of glasses is still meticulously handcrafted in Italy, using premium materials sourced from ethical and sustainable suppliers. From the design process to the final product, KUBORAUM maintains a commitment to pushing the boundaries of eyewear design while staying true to its artistic roots.

Today, KUBORAUM continues to captivate audiences around the world with its visionary approach to designer eyewear, inviting wearers to embrace their individuality, challenge convention, and see the world through a lens of endless possibility. With its rich history and uncompromising dedication to artistic excellence, KUBORAUM remains a driving force in the evolution of eyewear as a medium for self-expression and creative exploration.
